I’m sure you
will be surprised about how many good things that are in the Ruby Red.
First the
Ruby Red is actually the sweetest of the grapefruit family.
The Ruby Red was
perfected by my late husband’s family in South Texas.
From tons of
research I have found that the best way to eat a Ruby Red is to peal it and eat
it like you would an orange. Break the
sections apart and eat them that way. And you will see that you just can not eat a yellow grapefruit that way. It is so sour that you may feel like you're eating a lemon.
When you cut
a grapefruit in half and only eat the meat between the sections, you’re
leaving the healthy part of the fruit behind. Studies show that the pulp and the
skin that hold the sections are loaded with antioxidant compounds and they have
lycopene, limonoids and naringin. Together these compounds will help get rid of
colds and the symptoms that go with it.
They mop up free radicals that are floating in your blood stream.
And that is
not all that this great fruit does for the human body. They also reduce bruising on your body as well. The Bible states that everything that
we need is provided for us on this earth.

a half inch thick peal. Grapefruits shelf well. They will hold for a whole season. Just don't set them on wood or paper bags.

This
is a machine that I would recommend to any one that just can not stand
the pounding of walking or jogging on the street or on a treadmill.
You see as you have probably read in one of my previous blogs I could not get out and walk or jog like all the thin folks. I weighed so much that I would literally break bones when I went out and ran or walked. I was three miles from home, broke an ankle, and had to walk on it the rest of the way home. Now that I have this machine in my home my jogging days are over. There is a little more to this exercise machine than meets the eye. This is my old stand by when it comes to looking for new things to put into my diet and see if they work for me as they say they will. I am a true believer of try something new all the time. My parents were great believers in that theology!
