An Apple A Day!

An Apple A Day!

Well on this Week’s blog we will be talking about the Diet and foods that will help your digestion.

And as you can see this is about the title.
An Apple a Day Keeps The Doctor Away.  Well those old sayings really meant what they said.  It is True.  If you eat an apple per day your bowl movements won’t be so strenuous.  In my previous blogs I have told you to cut out the salt, soda pop, popcorn and Beer.  Well, all of those contain large amounts of salt.  And any Doctor in the land will tell you the more salt you take in the less fluid you will have in your bowls.

Your bowls need fluid to function properly.  Salt plays a major part in how we feel and how our body functions.  Granted we cannot live without salt in our diet, but you get enough natural salt in the food we all eat.

You must understand that your body does not just eliminate fluids through the kidneys.  This is why when you increase the amount of salt in your diet the dryer your bowls will become.  And this causes constipation and stops your weight loss process, dead in the water!  You must realize that if you’re taking a high powered medication that you will also be in risk of this problem.  After all Elves died from this kind of complication.

Many experts believe that about half of the people with high blood pressure are salt responders!  Meaning that their blood pressure levels depend on the amount of salt they eat.  And the older you get the more sensitive you become to the salt you ingest!

There are 2500 kinds of apples in the United States alone.  Even if you can’t sample all of the world’s apples, you can try some of the more notable varieties.
Braeburn, ranging in color for greenish to gold.
Fuji, Available year-round.
Gala, These have distinctive red stripes running down a yellow orange skin.
Jonagold, Tangy and Sweet
Liberty, A favorite of organic growers
Newtown Pippin, another green apple
Northern spy, greenish yellow with red strips
Winesap, Spicy and Tart
And we never forget the Red and Gold Delicious Apples, a staple in the California region.
And the one apple that stands out from all the rest is the Green Granny Smith Apple.
This is one apple that has magical powers.  If you ever find yourself in a situation where you know you have eaten something and it turns out to be ptomaine and you’re vomiting, then you must get to a store and purchase Green Granny Smith apples.  Cut the peal and put the peal in your cheek and chew on it to get the juice from the skin.  Do not swallow the skin. Spit it out and do it again. Do this about four times, or until you know that you have swallowed enough of the juice from the skin to feel your stomach starting to settle.  Lay down for about 15 minutes and you will feel the difference in that short of a time. It will stop the vomiting.

My Grandmother was a Shawman from the Cherokee Nation. She was the one that showed me the charm of the Green Granny Smith Apples. There is another ailment that the Granny is known to help. (the doctors want to keep this quite)  I have experienced this my self.  If your having problems with acid reflux, then try this same procedure with the reflux problem.

This is the apple that most folks make into pies.  To this day I keep a fresh Granny Smith sitting on my kitchen counter.
One other thing I must mention is apples help cut the sodium from your system and lowers your blood pressure.  The other thing that will lower your blood pressure is go out into the fresh air and do this 10 times; breath in through you noise (fill your lungs) and out through your mouth.  Do this at least 10 times and you will see a noticeable drop in your blood pressure.
And of course, keep up with your exersizes.

And tip #4 for this blog is:

Drink lots of water, not tap water (tap water has salt in it), no salt, and an apple a day!

Here is the link to my standby system that I use.  She is a lady that has just had a baby and will show you how to get rid of that belly fat.  And get the tummy muscles back in shape.

Well that’s it for this blog so happy eating and do walk every day if you don’t have a Gazelle.
